It was during her wedding time Tan realised that there are not much

choices on christian bridal dresses in kerala. She looked for her dream like

wedding dress in many stores in Kerala, Bangalore & chennai and

eventually decided to design her own bridal dress. She received rave reviews

for her design that impressed Tan, a B Tech graduate, to  start a  boutique 

exclusively for the Christian brides. 

The unique  and hand worked bridal Collections by Kavani has 

helped many brides to look ethereal within the ancient white/off white, 

light-weight beige colors. Even once having the limitation among the matter of color Kavani has created distinctive items for each bride who approached them with trust in their hearts.

Over the years many of our traditional outfits have given way to their western 

counterparts. One such attire  was 'chatta-mundu and kavani' - the classic wear of Christian women. Kavani, the name itself affected by this classic wear, has contributed in a big may to revive this outfit and restoring it to its former glory. So far they need designed around eight trendy versions of this ethnic wear for

brides.

The artistic talent Tan has shown from her childhood has helped Kavani to 

bring out distinctive and exquisite sarees, lehengas and wedding gowns that stoles the hearts of the many brides.

The boutique designed the lehenga worn by actress/model Catherine Thangam for her engagement with singer Benny Dayal. She jointly wore a stunning dress by Kavani for her mehndi function.

The materials are purchased from different parts of the country and are hand worked by workers at the boutique's Bengaluru unit.
